Our Team is look for aServer Assistant. They willberesponsibleforensuringthat all guests’ expectations are consistently met by exceeding The Press Club Grill Standards.The Server Assistant’s responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages,assistingservers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. Server Assistant’s should also be able to perform and-of-day clean-up duties. JOB OVERVIEW: Stockservicestations indiningroom,kitchen,andbar,includingbutnotlimitedtochina,glassware,cutlery,serviettes,condiments,POSsupplies,beverageproducts,andlinens. Polish glassware,cutlery,and otherservice wareinpreparationformealservice. Clean glasssurfaces,tabletops,service counters,floorsandfurnitureasrequiredpriorto,during,andaftermeal servicetoguestsindiningareas. Transport tables,chairsandotherfurnitureasrequiredinpreparationformeal servicetoguestsindiningareas. Observeandcommunicatewithserversandgueststorespondtoanyadditionalneeds andconfirmwiththeserverwhencoursesandmealhavebeencompleted andassistwith clearance. Brewcoffee,prepare, and stock beverages. Clearandresettablesafterguestshavevacatedper thestandardprocedure. Checktablesto ensureappropriatecutleryandcondimentsareinplaceforservice;assistinmarking tablebypositionpriortoeach courseasrequiredorrequestedbyserver. Performassigneddutiestopreparediningroomandserviceareasforeachmealperiod,andperformassignedbreakdowndutiesatendofservice toguests Communicateproblemswith physicalspaceandequipmenttosupervisors and managersimmediately. Relateguestfeedbacktorestaurantservice employees,restaurantmanagementandkitchen,inatimelyandappropriate manner. Monitor andmaintaincleanliness,organizationandsanitationofrestaurantguestandworkareasduringtheshiftincludingrestrooms,employeelocker room,bar,kitchen,andservicestations. Coordinatewithkitchen,bar,andserviceoperations to ensuretimelinessofrestaurantservice. Promptly andcourteouslyreturnfoodand beverageitemsrefusedbyguestsdirectlytokitchenorbar. Maintain completeknowledgeof andcomply withalldepartmentalpolicies,serviceprocedures,andstandards. Maintain completeknowledgeofcorrectuseofequipment.Useequipmentonlyasintended. Anticipateguests’needs,respondpromptly,andacknowledgeallguestswithintimeframedesignated. Attendrestaurantpre-shiftandtrainingmeetings,aswellasrequiredrestaurantmeetingsandtrainingsessions. Inspect guestdiningareas,serviceareaincludingkitchen,barandstorageareas,andemployeebreakrooms. Provideservice,asinstructedbyrestaurantmanagement,inbar/loungeareas. Ensureappropriate quantity,condition,andcleanlinessofallmiseenplacepriortoandduringmealservices.Thisincludes butisnotlimitedtowipingdownand stacking designatedplates,andotherserviceware;preparingbreadservice; portioning butter; slicing,chopping,peeling, rinsing,cleaningorotherwisepreparingfoodandbeverageingredientsforservice. Assistinother areasoftherestaurantordepartmentsas directed. Reportanyunsafeorunsanitaryconditionstorelevantdepartments.
